How do I create a recommendation using the Dispensary?

Create recommendations with ease.

Starting a New Recommendation

  1. Sign in to your Admin Dashboard
  2. Go to Dispensary > Recommendations > Create Recommendation.
  3. Choose one of the following options to start: adding a pill pack, adding products for your patient, simply selecting a patient or creating a new one. 

    1. ADD PILL PACK
      1. This takes you to the Pill Pack experience where you can create a Xymogen Pill Pack and add it to your recommendation if you currently have an integration with Xymogen.
    2. ADD PRODUCTS
      1. Find the product you'd like to recommend. You can sort, search and filter in a few ways to help you find what you're looking for.
        1. On the top lefthand side of the screen, you'll see filter options in icon form. You'll see Supplements, Pill Packs, Tests, Bundles and more. Note: The Miscellaneous category are usually products that are not in a supplement form (ex: Colloidal silver gel as opposed to Colloidal silver solution that can be used as a supplement).

        2. Search for the name or category in the search bar. You also can save your favorite products, and by clicking the heart next to the search bar, you'll be able to filter out just your favorited products.

        3. Filter by Brand name on the lefthand side panel, which also contains a search feature
        4. Filter by availability to ensure that you're recommending only products that are currently in stock
        5. Sort by the Default view which allows you to see pricing and details, or the Compact view which lists the product names and brand names
        6. Sort Alphabetically, Frequently Used or Recently Used items
        7. To find out more information about a product, simply click on the product's name from the list, and you will see more detailed information including SKU name, stock status, product images, a description, ingredients, and suggested use.
      2. Click "Add" when you've found the product you want
      3. Select the frequency in which you want it to be delivered (one-time or recurring every 30, 60, or 90 days)
      4. Select the Dosage Instructions you would like for that particular patient, including how often (Frequency), with or without food (Food Option) and how long they need to take it (Duration).
      5. Leave a note at the product level if you have anything particular to that specific product that you need to communicate to the patient.
      6. Select a quantity
      7. Click "Save To Recommendation" and your item will be added to the recommendation and you can move to the next one.
    3. SELECT OR CREATE NEW PATIENT
      1. Select Patient - Select from a list of patients you've created in the past.
      2. Create Patient - Create a new patient using their first name, last name, email, gender, and primary telephone number.
  1. COMPLETE YOUR RECOMMENDATION
    1. SEND - Send the recommendation via email to your patient.
    2. SAVE - Save the recommendation as a draft and complete it later.
    3. GET LINK - Send a link to your patient directly and they can open it by logging in to their customer account in your store. 
    4. CREATE ORDER - Checkout on your patient's behalf by gathering their shipping and billing information directly. This is useful for in-office checkout or if your patient is having trouble checking out in your store. 

Patient Recommendation Experience

Your patients can access their Recommendations anytime by visiting your store, signing in to their account and navigating to the Recommendations tab.

They will be able to see the notes you left them, and add any items recommended to their cart to checkout.
